San Francisco hosted a true Cyclocross classic event this past Sunday and the SCOTT/RITCHEY/SRAM Team played a leading role in the racing action on the day. Golden Gate Park produced a epic course for over 550 riders taking part in the Bay Area Super Prestige Series.
In the Elite division Nick Hanni, Jesse Mayberry, and Gabriel Keck were in the thick of the action during the entire race. Mayberry was the team's highest placed rider, however Nick Hanni showed he is finding some form with his best ride of the series to date. Gabriel Keck is solid on his SCOTT Bicycle, and now provides a strong 1,2,3 punch for the team when riding with Mayberry & Hanni in the Elite division. Keith DeFiebre brought on another podium finish for the team claiming 3rd overall in the Single-Speed division.
Next stop for the SCOTT/RITCHEY/SRAM riders will be a double weekend of events. Some of the team will be taking part in the Santa Rosa Cross Series on Saturday. Then on Sunday the entire squad will be back in the Bay Area for the Super Prestige Series final event.
